There was ZERO chance Berman would bring his Hockey team to AP:
The Titans came into the league in 1999 under co-owner Geoffrey
Berman, 45, a former assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern
District of New York. He started the team to be part of the
revitalization of Trenton, the city of his birth.
Berman is also senior vice president and general counsel for real
estate developer R. Berman Development, which built the Sovereign
Bank Arena in 1999 and transferred ownership to the Mercer County
Improvement Authority in 1999. R. Berman Development owns the
underlying land. The popular concert venue can seat 8,100 for
hockey.
