Oh yeah, one more thing. All events such as the ones that took place  this 
past weekend do come before a special events committee.  Recommendations are 
then given to the City Council and they have the final say  if the event 
happens or not.

No problem disagreeing. I said  it already, I have a fundamental problem 
with closing public space and  charging the public to enter. You want to put 
vendors there to sell me  something, okay, but charge me to enter - no.
