What makes people think an owner of a building has to give them something - for
free?
The building needs a carousel. THAT would bring MORE people in. At least, from
my past experiece and what I see today. There's plenty of places for a musuem.
It's hard to listen to people when they don't even have the money to begin with.
I once had an idea, I told it to someone who turned around and raised enough
money from major companies to kick it off. The only problem was, I only had a
couple pages drafted of a plan. That was even good. The only problem was, the
sponsors didn't want to put it where I thought it should go.
That was Asbury Park.
I told them I didn't drive to Point Pleasant and they already had people.
That was 27 years ago.
Nut job or not - for better or worse boy Gary calls the shots - or is the face
of it.
When you have a perfect summer weather wise - eveyone looks like a genius.
Add to that - all the people that see "how asbury has come back..."
That's what people see - when they come on a nice, busy day.
