I probably wouldn't be opposed if it raised MY taxes, I would need to see the 
numbers

My reasoning (and I'm sure most will think I'm absolutely NUTS with this), is 
purely in regards to the kids.

I see what football does for them firsthand, granted it doesn't help ALL of 
them, but a lot of them.

I have never encountered a disrespectful player from the football program (HS 
or pop warner), always referred to as "sir", always get a thank you when I give 
a compliment

For some of these kids AP Football gives them a sense of pride, a purpose etc. 

Considering during their state championship run they averaged 50 spectators 
weekly over 3yrs (they shouldve been selling out every week, 3 straight 
championships is unheard of), a new field to me....is just fine
