I probably wouldn't be opposed if it raised MY taxes, I would need to see the numbers
My reasoning (and I'm sure most will think I'm absolutely NUTS with this), is purely in regards to the kids. I see what football does for them firsthand, granted it doesn't help ALL of them, but a lot of them. I have never encountered a disrespectful player from the football program (HS or pop warner), always referred to as "sir", always get a thank you when I give a compliment For some of these kids AP Football gives them a sense of pride, a purpose etc. Considering during their state championship run they averaged 50 spectators weekly over 3yrs (they shouldve been selling out every week, 3 straight championships is unheard of), a new field to me....is just fine Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry -----Original Message----- From: "oakdorf" <[email protected]> Sender: [email protected] Date: Fri, 14 Oct 2011 17:34:57 To: <[email protected]> Reply-To: [email protected] Subject: [AsburyPark] Re: Why me?
