Hi Jenny

At present, there is no support for those solvers, although we do have a
project proposal that would address that matter, by implementing a
GAMS-compatible (or AMPL-compatible) 'gateway' API that would allow us
to access solvers implemented for GAMS/AMPL.

We're hoping to tackle that project in the coming year. Earlier
contributions are of course most welcome!

I note that we are poised to make a new release of ASCEND that will
include the IPOPT solver in addition to CONOPT. However, there are
currently no LP solvers natively connected to ASCEND other than linsol
and linsolqr which are accessed 'under the bonnet' but not directly by
the user.
