Hi,
I am new to ASCEND, trying to compile for the first time. I am using
the trunk via svn.
I am trying to compile using
scons install INSTALL_PREFIX=/home/hans
but I get the error
...

"/home/hans/share/ascend/tcltk/typetree.tcl"
Chmod("/home/hans/share/ascend/tcltk/typetree.tcl", 0644)

Install file: "tcltk/interface/libascendtcl.so" as
"/home/hans/lib/libascendtcl.so"
Chmod("/home/hans/lib/libascendtcl.so", 0644)
scons: *** [/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/ascend]
/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/ascend: Permission denied
scons: building terminated because of errors.
Can anyone help me fix this?
