Hi, people.

I am Computer Science bachelor and now I'm studying Aeronautical
Engineering (not pos-graduating, but another graduating course). I
recently discovered ASCEND and I thought it could be very interesting
tool for flight performance studies. Programming flight mechanics
numerical algorithms in common scientific softwares is a very
repetitive and messy work. As a python programmer, I've tried to do
some effort to make it better, developing a python library for flight
mechanics [1] (just getting started).

Before applying for Google Summer of Code, I'd like to know if it
could exist some interesting task to be done for ASCEND in this area
(flight mechanics). Else, I'd like suggestions for possibilities that
fullfill my technical profile. Best regards.
