Hi all, I'm Kaushalya Madhawa, a final year student from Computer Science & Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I am interested in participating in GSoC 2011 with Ascend as mentoring organisation. As I'm new to the organization and the list I went through the GSoC 2010 projects list.
I found "Parallelising ASCEND computations" project interesting to me. I have experience in working with parallelization tool OpenMP, Intel Threading Building Blocks, MPI and CUDA on NVidia GPUs. Currently working on my final year project which is to build a Machine Learning toolkit for hybrid clusters consisting of both CPUs and GPUs. I would like to know whether this project would be added to this years GSoC projects list. It will be helpful for me if you provide me or guide me with some information as pre-requisites.
