Hello I, Ujjaval, am a 3rd year student of IIIT Hyderabad, India. I am planning to apply for GSOC 2011 program and came across some nice project ideas that have been proposed by ASCEND. I have prior experience with C/C++ and Python/PyGTK alongwith a sound base in thermodynamics and graph theory. I spent the last two days doing the following tasks :
- Go through ascend wiki pages and general info about the tool. - Get ascend source code from CMU repository. - Build and run ascend after installing all required packages on my local system (Ubuntu). But I *want help *in getting a better understanding about what is being expected from some projects and what is required to be done. Some projects that I am more interested in doing are 'GUI Improvements' , 'Canvas - based modelling' and 'Bug Squashing'. Can someone give me some contact detail and a *TIME SLOT *or a meeting time when I can further discuss about these projects on some IRC channel / or chat with someone ?
