I downloaded the svn trunk of fprops today and gave it a shot with
~/fprops $ scons
and the build failed. I tried it with SWIG 2.0.4 and 2.0.9 with the same
results each time. Here's some of the output:

scons: Building targets ...
...
swig -o python/fprops_wrap.c -python python/fprops.i
