Hi All, I'm a final year student majoring in ECE from NSIT, India. I am interested in working for Ascend under GSoC. I have had experience in C/C++ , Java, and Python Programming Languages. I have also done an internship with KDE under their Summer with KDE Program 2011. http://community.kde.org/GSoC/2011/StatusReports#Aaditya_Chauhan . I also worked on a Text Rotation Project with Abiword, so I have previous experience with GUI APIs like Cairo and Pango.
Going through the Projects Wiki. I am particularly interested in the "Parameter handling for the canvas-based modeller" project idea, as it matches my skills. I intend to get Familiar with Ascend by building Ascend code from the SVN trunk, and then perhaps working on some bugs from the Bug Tracker. Please, guide me through the process and tell me if I am on the Right Path.
