Thank you for your interest in ASCEND.
I have worked on the Canvas previously. I would say the best place to start
would be to get the source code and run ASCEND from the scripts. I am not a
mentor so can’t say much about the projects priority but parameter handling
project specifically will require a bit of planning and thought from you before
you could submit a proposal. You might want to first start by understanding
what ‘parameters' really are, how canvas handles the solving process and then
you could document some code changes you foresee to achieve what’s required.
Note: This goes to anyone who’s interested in the Canvas/Parameter handling
project.
