Hello,
I apologise for submitting the patch for review without adequate testing.
Actually I got carried away with this piece of description of the bug
"Perhaps the unit conversion is being multiplied instead of divided?". As I
noticed this exact thing happening at one place in the file "observer.py",
I concluded that this should fix the issue. However, I realise the mistake
and assure you that no such event will occur in future.
I am currently facing the following issues while trying to reproduce the
bug :
1. I am unable to build the ksenija2 branch of the repository due to the
following bug : Error when launching PyGTK GUI if gtksourceview2 add-in is
not available on machine ( http://bugs.ascend4.org/view.php?id=573 ). It
would be helpful if someone can suggest a solution for this.
2. The model "branches/ksenija2/models/ksenija/thermostat.a4c model" does
not load correctly in the current trunk and throws a lot of syntactical
errors including errors like "Function EVENT is not defined". My doubt here
is that, is there something extra in the ksenija2 branch which is
compulsory for loading of this specific model?
3. I tried reproducing the bug with a few other models like
"ascend/models/dyn_tank.a4c" but failed to do so which points to the
conclusion that the bug is not always reproducible.
My guess is there is something specifically wrong with the model that
originally produced the bug and it would be very helpful if you could
provide the details of that model for further analysis.
Note : I have built the trunk successfully and tested it on a number of
existing models.
Thanks,
Aditya Jain
