The approach required would be something quite similar to that for ideal gases [1]. One example of the way that incompressible fluid calculations are used is for molten salt [2]. We would like to incorporate the current equation-based models like that one into the FPROPS system. Incompressible fluids would be assumed to experience no phase changes. Ideally they could participate as components in mixtures, down the track. The most important thing here is to adopt a consistent interface for such fluids in FPROPS so that the user can conveniently switch between different fluid models according to the level of detail they require.
