The bug tracker is up and running again. Thanks again for letting me
know about that. It is accessible from http://bugs.ascend4.org/.
One area that we need some work on at the moment is the Windows
installer. We need to check our build and install process and note down
any problems that occur especially on a (clean) Windows 10 system. If
you would like to take a look that would be really helpful.
Otherwise, if you would like to get into a more mathematical problem,
then you can look at the IPOPT solver and try to fix it up so that it
uses the second derivatives (hessian matrix) which we can now calculate
using the second-order autodiff code developed by Mahesh Narayanamurthi
a few years back.
Let me know more about your interests and I can give other suggestions.
