Hi, I'm following these steps to install 8.5.3 on my Mac (download of
8.5.3 files from Mercurial repository went without a hitch):
$ autoconf
$ ./configure
$ make
$ python a2x.py -f manpage doc/asciidoc.1.txt
$ python a2x.py -f manpage doc/a2x.1.txt
$ sudo make install
When I type the commands "python a2x.py -f manpage doc/asciidoc.1.t"
and "python a2x.py -f manpage doc/a2x.1.txt", I get this output:
a2x: ERROR: missing configuration file: /usr/local/etc/
asciidoc/docbook-xsl/manpage.xsl
