I've been playing recently with plastex. It's a latex processing and renderer, with an architecture which allows multiple front ends. In my case, I want to be able to produce wordpress limited HTML, so that I can blog in both asciidoc and latex -- it makes no sense for me to generate asciidoc, when I can produce HTML directly. But, the tool should enable you to do this.
