The next release will ship with xhtml11 quirks mode off by default (unless I can
be convinced otherwise). Of course you are free to switch back on (-aquirks).
IE6 is history (http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp).
Continuing to generate and maintain broken IE6 CSS by default constitutes cruel
and unusual punishment.
