Hi Frank, I believe you should install the docbook XML v4.5 DTD using your distribution package manager in you're on a Unix, or by downloading and installing them manually if on windows (http://www.docbook.org/xml/4.5/docbook-xml-4.5.zip, see also http://supportweb.cs.bham.ac.uk/documentation/tutorials/docsystem/build/tutorials/docbooksys/docbooksys.html#DocBookSys-Chapter3-XML-Install and particularly the "Docbook DTD" section). Then you should have a proper and working catalog file. The details are long, but hopefully you're on Linux or BSD and the distribution will take care of the details for you.
