Well, maybe you have rationale. In many ways - yes. But in my personal
opinion, my (first and for now single) big work with asciidoc
(~170pages pdf for my course) , become easier after i move building of
document to doc-building-system, at beginning i used plain a2x+make.

There are some differences like document maps in yaml, support from
document profiles, etc.

Anyway, this little bit hard for me to explain why it's easier for me,
but it is.

And of course, I don't push anyone to use it if it's not fit well for your work.
Just it's asciidoc-based tool, so I mention it.
