Slidy2 has the same problem with custom themes as slidy had before
Stuart fixed it.

Looks like you can just change line 347 in slidy2.conf from
include1::{stylesdir={asciidoc-confdir}/stylesheets}/{theme=asciidoc}.css[]
to
include1::{theme%}{stylesdir=./stylesheets}/asciidoc.css[]
include1::{themedir}/{theme}.css[]
