Hi,

The possible problem is that dbaltex isn't docbook compliant and does
not accept non-ascii characters in cross reference IDs, so IDs
generated from titles containing non-ascii characters cause an error.

I think that a workaround was added recently for this, try the hg
version of asciidoc.
