So if you ask my opinion, don't wait for us with a release. A new AsciiDoc
release might even help, so I can merge your patch that relies on a new
release ;-)
Yes, I think you are right, I'll go ahead with the next release (within a
month hopefully).
I would appreciate a listing in the filters-section of the website. Even
though it's not feature-complete, it's already quite usable for a lot of
stuff. (Hey, I am using it for various documents ;-))
I will be doing a presentation about asciidoc-odf at the FlossUK Spring
conference, and have send in presentations to Loadays and LinuxTag. I hope
to impress/convince people of the ODF backend in order to get some people
testing, reporting and contributing to the backend (even though he
asciidoc internals have a steep learning curve). A mention on the
filters-page might help in that respect too.
My goal is to have a proper ODP implementation, sufficient to do
presentations with. Also, my example document is showing some nice
integrated diagrams using the various existing filters (e.g. ditaa,
plantuml, ...). Some of those examples will end up in the presentation as
well.
I will share the slides here if they are finished. Feedback welcome !
PS I build the latest Abiword and unfortunately it doesn't do Flat XML
ODF, and crashes on normal ODF files :-/ Need to find other ODF consumers
to test with !
