I've just converted a couple of DocBook documents to AsciiDoc using Pandoc (http://johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/),it works surprisingly well. It would be a huge leg-up if you're coming to AsciiDoc from other markups (reStructuredText, textile, HTML, DocBook, or LaTeX).
