seems to indicate this is already done and depends on the toolchain.
Using a toolchain of asciidoc -v -b html5 file.txt produces the following
in the .html file...
CSS: span.yellow-background { background: yellow; }
But there's no class associated with the HTML.
If role -> class facility works for some backends, give me an example of a
toolchain that preserves both the CSS + HTML so I can see how this works.
