I've just made (my first) html5 web page with AsciiDoc
& am very happy with it. Just a tiny tweak needed
On screen, the first section of html reads like this
... two more came along; see footnotes [1] and [2]. ...
[1] and [2] are live links to footnotes at the bottom of the html page -
which is fine. But then the section ends
[1]
[2]
How do I avoid this second time quotation of footnote links?

I'm using AsciiDoc as it comes, out of the box, on WinXP
AsciiDoc is invoked like this
asciidoc.py -b html5 -a icons -a toc2 -a theme=volnitsky outfile
