Yes I know. That's how I come up with my guess at the first place. However, 
 I'm still unable to make the asciidoc table rowspan working. 

This is my latest attempt:

[cols=3,options="header",width="50%"]
|=======================
.2+|Col 1 2+^|Col 2
   |Item H     | H2
|2    |Item 2     |b
|3    |Item 3     |c
|6    |Three items|d
|=======================

Still not what I wanted. 
Please help.
