In a HTML output, I would like to link the source document of a quote. For
instance, the Asciidoc code:

[quote, author, source document]
Text of the quote.

generates an HTML that displays something like:

| Text of the quote.
| source document
| -- author

I would like "source document" to be a link. I have tried different
combinations, but none has worked: the HTML output keeps displaying the
URL, and I don't want that. I could use footnotes, but I would rather use
them only for additional content, not simple links as well.

I'm also open to alternative approaches.

Thank you in advance.
