I would love to contribute to the website. I don't know AsciiDoc's code base very well, so contributing to that would make less sense, but on the other hand I have quite some experience in web design.

Also, who is taking care of pull requests? I made a request a couple of weeks ago, just after I migrated the repo to GitHub. It's a fairly simple change that just tidies up the readme file a bit. However, nobody has taken care of the request.

In fact, technically I have the rights to submit the request myself (as I'm member of the AsciiDoc organisation). Since I'm rather new to this community I'm just not sure if I would offend someone in doing so. Please let me know what you think.

Lex,

I'm glad you bright this up. I'd really like to see the website hosted
on GitHub Pages (either the gh-pages branch in the same repository or a
dedicated repo). My philosophy is that site content should be treated
just like code.

I currently administer the .org domain names, so I can point them there
if / when we decide to move it.

        Dear all,

AsciiDoc is now available on GitHub!
        https://github.com/asciidoc/__asciidoc
        <https://github.com/asciidoc/asciidoc>

@Stuart: You may now make an official announcement, probably on
        the website!?

Which raises the question, is Stuart happy to have the website
continue on his servers? If so how do we get updates from the
source in github to the website? Does anyone have alternate
    suggestions?

Also I recommend adding the 'Fork me on GitHub' ribbon to the
        website:
        https://github.com/blog/273-__github-ribbons

    Agree

A description on how to contribute would also make it much
easier for developers who would like to do so.

Agree, we just need to do it :)

        What do you think?

    Cheers

            Thanks Dan,

I'm travelling with only limited internet access
            (essentially email) so
can't help until I get back mid Jan.

            Cheers
