Hi,

I'm currently reviewing the
bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/asciidoc/+bug/1073247 which
is tipically a use case for the "ascii-ids" attribute in my mind.

I was going to tell them to use ascii-ids, but referring to the
documentation, it should be avoided
(http://www.methods.co.nz/asciidoc/asciidoc.css-embedded.html#_section_ids):

*If the ascii-ids attribute is defined then non-ASCII characters are
replaced with ASCII equivalents. This attribute may be deprecated in future
releases and should be avoided, it’s sole purpose is to accommodate
deficient downstream applications that cannot process non-ASCII ID
attributes. *

So my question is:
What else can we use when having non-ascii characters in section titles if
we should not use ascii-ids?

Thanks in advance,
Joseph
