I was thinking it might be easier to have the Javascript add the
elements, but you can do it the boring way too. :)
Copy [sect1] through [sect5] in xhtml11.conf and html5.conf, modify
one copy to include your new markup and choose between the modified
and unmodified sections using an attribute (for example {pilcrow}) so
that by default existing documents don't change. Create a pilcrow.css
with your css in it and optionally include it in the [heading] section
using the same attribute (just before the {stylesheet} css is included
so users can modify the styling if they want to).
