No, they are two different things, Greek capital Omega is U+03A9 and Ohm Sign is U+2126. Asciidoc and the docbook it produces are both content markup, not presentation markup, and so don't contain font information. The dblatex docs have never been clear to me how to do it, best I can find is http://dblatex.sourceforge.net/doc/manual/xetex.font.html or its latex style I think.
