Thanks for the reply. Obviously as I'm using CMake, there are lots of 
things I can do to circumvent the problem. However, not being able to set 
the output filename when using a2x + FOP is the issue I'm reporting and 
wanted to know if I was missing something.

Thanks for your help. I've solved the problem with CMake in another way 
anyway.
