Not even then, a2x runs asciidoc to generate docbook then uses the
docbook XSL to generate html, so asciidoc is not generating html so it
can't apply the theme.  Since the XSL generates different HTML from
that asciidoc generates I doubt that the CSS in the theme would apply
to it, even if included it manually.

Note docbook is not a presentation markup, so there is no way of
applying the theme to the docbook.
