Hi Dan, Thanks for the pointer to the Brackets plugin!
Their approach is pretty interesting - they add a data-line-<source code line number> attribute to each node in the generated HTML. This allows them to map back and forth between a line in the source code to a position in the HTML. I'll take a look and see if I can get this to work in AsciiDocLIVE.
