Hello,

I've just installed ASPseek 1.1.1 and still have some problem with
words containing accents (only the ones raw coded in the html file,
not the one using entities). I've found that:

http://melior dot univ-montp3 dot
fr/aspseek/s.cgi?cs=iso88591&q=lambert+claviers&ps=20&dt=back&dp=0

works, whereas:

http://melior dot univ-montp3
dotfr/aspseek/s.cgi?cs=iso-8859-1&q=lambert+claviers&ps=20&dt=back&dp=0

does not; apparently:

CharsetAlias iso88591   iso-8859-1 iso8859-1 iso8859.1 iso-8859.1
iso_8859-1:1988 iso_8859-1 iso_8859.1

is not taken into account by s.cgi.

Another problem: in the result html file, there's a:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

line at the very top of the file. I think it should be between <HEAD></HEAD>.

Anyway, thanks for such a product that will be our search engine of
choice very soon.

Gilles.
