Hi,
I have scanned thru the mailing list archive but could not find the
information I needed and hence after RTFM am sending the query.
I have a few pages on the site and am sure will be at many places across
the web which have a url pointed to itself and then it redirect to a
proper location.
Like for eg:
1) there is a page called http://www.kapilbiyani.com and then it displayes
a small page which has a meta refresh which automatically after a few
seconds gets redirected to some other page.
I am not sure whether aspseek takes that into considerationor just follows
the <a href...>...</a> tags. I have faced this and am hence asking about
this. I have a complete directory which is unindexed due to the same
reaso. I was not sure cause I just got the SE installed yesterday night
and indexed the pgs. thru proxy (approx 3 sites), so today morning I also
after checking the results processed the logs to find out whether the
particular "HTTPHeader User-Agent: Kaps_was_here...(SE)" visited the site
but unfortunately did not find it for that particular directory except one
page crawled... ;-(
Any ideas on how to accomplish the same as most of the parts of my site
are the same way, Meta Refresh tags and then redirected to the directory
internal pages...
also the Manual is pretty short, as compared to the HUGE sonftware...
I was a little confused as to start the process as didn't know how to go
ahead... I don't mind writing up a few pages after I really understand the
software.
