I've attached a printout from the TOP command it doesn't look that bad. So
far the index has been running for 7 hours.
Ounce its done any follow indexing done when new files are added shouldn't
take long, am I right?
PS:
Are you going to do indexing by file systems sometime in the future? That
would be a lot faster and it wouldn't fill
up the web server logs. If someone has there web server on a small
partition they could possibly crash there machine when it runs out of
space. you've probably heard this before.
