Concerning your problems, it can be caused by mysql database corruption,
aspseek DB files corruption, or it is aspseek bug. So
1. Check and repair MySQL tables using mysqlisamchk utility. See MySQL manual
for info about it.
2. Try index -D to see if the problem persists. If it is, to investigate it
further (and fix it) you need to debug index (using gdb program). See this
list archives for instructions what to do with gdb (archives are available
at http://www.mail-archive.com/aseek-users%40lists.asplinux.ru/). If you find
what the problem is, please send gdb output here. Or, if you know nothing
about gdb, find someone who knows or order aspseek support
(http://www.aspseek.org/order.html).
