Hi,

I'm new to this list. I searched and browsed the list archives and didn't
find any answers to what I'm guessing is a really easy question:

When I try to ./configure the sources on a RedHat 6.2 system, everything
seems to go fine until the end when I get the message:

checking for MySQL support... no
checking for Oracle8i support... no
configure: error:
***
*** You should select database!
***

Mysql is installed in a nonstandard directory, but there's a link from
/usr/local/mysql to the ACTUAL mysql directory. Also, I've tried using the
--with-mysql=/pathtomysql where pathtomysql was everything I could think of
including:

/usr/local/mysql-3.23.28-gamma-pc-linux-gnu-i686/
/usr/local/mysql-3.23.28-gamma-pc-linux-gnu-i686/include
/usr/local/mysql-3.23.28-gamma-pc-linux-gnu-i686/include/mysql.h
/usr/local/mysql-3.23.28-gamma-pc-linux-gnu-i686/lib

And several others.

Can anyone tell me how to get aspseek to compile with Mysql support?

Thanks,
Masen
