Hello,

I try to get 2 versions of Aspseek running on the same box, but
I did not succeed.

Steps:

I installed aspseek-1.2.5, using a program directory /usr/local/aspseek125,
a mysql database aspseek125 and a data directory /data/aspseek125.
I am using s-125.cgi in Apache cgi-bin and a searchd which listens to port
12345.

Next I installed aspseek-1.2.8, using a program directory
/usr/local/aspseek128,
a mysql database aspseek128 and a data directory /data/aspseek128.
I am using a s-128.cgi and a searchd which listens to port 12348 (last
digit 8, not 5).

When I start ../cgi-bin/s-128.cgi on my box, I can do a search, but
it delivers results from the 125 database, and not from the 128 database
searchd 128 listens on 12348 (in dlog.log), so I do not understand why
s-128.cgi delivers results from another database.

Did I miss something ... ;:)

Any help and suggestions are welcome. Getting 2 versions of Aspseek to
run should be possible in order to run a production environment and
a test environment on the same box.

Regards Frank
