I am looking for the parents of both Baptiste Soucy, married to Louise Landry. Their son Joseph Telesphore Soucy was born approx. February 1865 in Canada (According to Familysearch), and married Lea Ouellette October 8, 1888 in Van Buren, Maine, USA (according to Dictionaire Genealogique du Madawaska Repertoire des Marriages). I can see traces of Telesphore and his wife on various US census. His birthplace is not consistent. On one census it's "Canada", on another it's "Maine". Regardless, I can't find traces of a Soucy-Landry couple that matches the information available. As usual, your help is greatly appreciated. L.P.
