Hi Phil Looking at the history of Rebecca GIBSS who was said to have also
married John Howland, the historical records seem to say, there was another
John Howland around the same time and same area. That's who she really married,
not your John Howland.However it does appear in some places that it was your
John Howland who married her, which is incorrect.So forget Rebecca. BestBill

second, Freelove Wood 1725 in Massachusetts and died about 1784, possibly in
Rhode Island. John may have also been married previously to Rebecca ?? before
1725. If John’s grandparents (Howland) are known, I would also like
