Hello,Wishing everybody good health. Hoping you can clear up two bits of info
that conflict. What I do know comes gathered a decade ago from persons on the
old QR-List/other Rootsweb lists. 1832Dennis Rainville b. 9 Sep 1832,
Berthierville, (autrefois Berthier-en-Haut), Qc, CANADADionysus on his birth
certificate. Dieudonné on some documents.First marriage to Cesarie DEMERS no
date of birth.Could you provide, please. Césarie marries Dieudonné Oct. 19,
1859My notes say somebody told me this is confirmed in Loiselle and
Drouin.Children1860 child b. Delia Rainville Amans (1860 - 1932)1869 child b.
(George) no date of birth.Could you provide if you can, please. Césarie dies.
no date or cause of death.Could you provide, please. Dennis remarries.no date
of marriage but extrapolating from US census this marriage occurred before they
emigrated circa 1869-1870.Could you provide, please.Desanges DEMERS b. Jan 17,
1838Info provided to me : From death record Volume #1, #94Barron County, Rice
Lake (see below) ChildrenHéloise (sic) b. 1872 followed by Gideon 1874,
Georgina 1875 and Ernestine 1879. (appear on 1880 census).Heloise is Eloi (aka
Louis) Renville.b. Feb 1871, Rice Lake, Baron, Wisconsin, USA The problem :
What is the relationship between Césarie and Desange "Dezerre" "Bessar" DEMERS
? One source swore up and down that they were sisters. Asked me to NOT publish
this info.Later I found that there is a possibility they might be cousins. That
a Frederick is buried nearby to Desanges. The person said she was not sure if
that was a son of Desanges. Another tidbit says she was a granddaughter of Marg
Dauplaise and daughter of a Frederick.I have this : Jean Fredrick DEMERS m.
Marie Therese Lambert.A Magloire DEMERS fils m. 1835 Marguerite Dauplaise.I
received a few generations back concerning this Magloire.Thinking the women
were sisters, I have them being children of Magloire DEMERS and Marguerite
Dauplaise. But were Frederick and Magloire brothers ?Could you confirm this,
please. I am leaning toward this info : Death record for Desange "Dezerre"
"Bessar" Demers Rainville.
