Dear Georges,

With respect to the ITU-T Study Group 17 experts meeting on Q.N/17 (SDL
issues only) and Q.P/17 - UML profiles - planned for 15-17 November,
after discussion with Thomas Weigert (rapporteur for Q.P/17) and other
experts, Mr Weigert and I have agreed that (because of the availability of
key experts on this date) the meeting will be postponed.

The discussion on possible dates is continuing, but the meeting will
probably take place in December or possibly January. There is currently
still the intention to have a meeting before the first SG17 meeting next
year, though the possibility of working only electronically is also being
considered.

Meanwhile we encourage all interested parties to make contributions by
email, and are also considering setting aside dates for a specific email or
electronic discussion followed by a teleconference prior to the physical
meeting.

The planned location is (currently) still Windermere.

We apologise to any expert who had reserved the 15-17 Nov dates in their
diary, and will let you know as soon as the new date is fixed and location
confirmed.

Meanwhile can you place update the WWW page
http://www.itu.int/ITU-T/studygroups/com17/meetings.html

to replace:

"15-17 November 2004, TBC" by "date in Nov-Dec TBC"

and replace

"Windermere or Turin or Edinburgh" by "Windermere (TBC)"

At the same time, I understand that no meeting is planned for Q.O/17 and
therefore suggest that (after checking with Daniel Amyot - rapporteur for
Q.O/17) this is removed from the meeting schedule.
