Hello,Dear Friends Here another issue is confusing me...I am a freshman to access ASN.1/UMTS protocol decoding area.
I am using Objective-system ASN compiler to compile my ASN file from UMTS spec.And have got the resulting H/CPP Files.After I have a study on some PER samples I still cannot have clear idea how to implement this in my real project.I am not clear how I can interprete HEX data into protocol plain text easy to read by others. For examle: =========== 1)Given Data: 09 23 43 5F 8C ..... 2)Resulting Decoded Message: Message Type : Message Type Description. Other Field : Other Field Values ................................ How can I implement this like a protocol analyzer(Ethereal etc....)?I find that when I employ functions generated by the ASN comipler it just gives one resulting structure which contains the decoded data.Right ?What should I do based-on this result?
