Hi sethuramang, As per my knowledge 'CONTANING' keyword is not in ASN.1 world also.
Are you sure about this keyword, is it documented somewhere ? >From where you get this ASN.1 code? I think it is for explanatory purpose. i think you can by pass this word, but make sure it is not a ASN.1 keyword. It is very simple to search. Since I needed this information urgently, I am resending the question that I had sent you earlier. Can you throw some light on this ? I have a ASN1 file which has a CONTAINING keyword, but unfortunately the ASN1 compiler does not support this keyword. My question is, is it possible to bypass this keyword with a workaround so that I can use my existing ASN1 compiler ? My sample ASN1 file looks like this.. SEQUENCE { a INTEGER b BIT_STRING (CONTAINING K) OPTIONAL } K ::= SEQUENCE { c INTEGER OPTIONAL, d SEQUENCE {} OPTIONAL } Can you also point me to some useful resources in this regard ? ----------------------- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------- Thanks for your time Regards Sethuraman G ----- Original Message ---- From: Olivier Dubuisson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: G Sethuraman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, July 5, 2006 9:40:20 PM Subject: Re: Information regarding CONTAINING G Sethuraman wrote: > Hi, > > I have just started working on ASN1 and would like to get some > clarification regarding the CONTAINING keyword in ASN1.
