Hello

I am writing a TAPI driver for a telephone systems manufacturer. They have
provided me with their CSTA specs (which I can show you if required). But I
am not sure if I have enough information from them. I am fairly new to CSTA
and ASN. If possible I would like to find out if I could use your ASN.1
compiler with this information to write the TAPI driver.

For example, I have a table like this:

Answer Call
The Answer Call Service operates on an incoming call that is ringing
(I-Ring) or queued for that device.

ItemService / FeatureReferenceStatusN/ASupported?
A2 Answer call serviceS10.2 P9.2O Yes [x] No [ ]
A2a Call to be answered P9.2A2:m[ ]Yes [x]
A2b Private data in requestP18.8A2:o Yes [ ] No [x]
A2c Security data in requestP18.7A2:o Yes [ ] No [x]
A2d Service result positiveP9.2A2:m[ ]Yes [x]
A2e Service result negativeP16A2:m[ ]Yes [x]
A2f Private data in resultP18.8A2d:o Yes [ ] No [x]
A2g Security data in resultP18.7A2d:o Yes [ ] No [x]

But it means nothing to me. Am I missing some crucial information? How do
I work out what all this means?

Specifically, what CSTA information do I need from the manufacturer to get
started?

Angus
