[ASN.1] ASN.1 1989 vs 1994

Protocols like CSTA I and II and ROSE are defined with ASN.1 1989 and they
include the use of MACROS.  Is there any effort underway by ECMA or someone
else to convert them to ASN.1 1994 definitions that use parameterization
with CLASS?
