France Telecom is pleased to announce that an e-tutorial for ASN.1 is available on the ASN.1 website.
The e-tutorial is composed of series of exercises, each being dedicated to a particular theme. It is an interactive tool which gradually explores more and more complex uses of the ASN.1 notation. English version: http://asn1.elibel.tm.fr/tutorial French version: http://asn1.elibel.tm.fr/tutoriel After a syntax and semantics check performed by an ASN.1 compiler, the solution given by the user is checked against the expected answers with help of a tool that can compare ASN.1 specifications. Please read the explanations given at the above URL before you begin to use the e-tutorial. Be sure you will get acclimated to the tool after 2 or 3 attempts.
